The massacre of the justinians in scio by francesco solimena is a painting (oil on canvas, 277 x 164 cm) located in naples in the capodimonte museum (inv. Q 213), in the neapolitan gallery. The painting is a sketch by the artist for one of the canvases he created to decorate the ceiling of the council room in the palazzo ducale in genoa, paintings that were destroyed in a fire in 1777.
