Letter from gustav klimt to his mother; tata tovaros (hungary), december 29, 1892, with black border; 1st page (of 2) "dear mother! i am hereby sending a somewhat belated sign of life. I have arrived here safe and sound. There was a concert on the very first evening. The patent leather boots pinched me terribly, especially the left one; i am certainly not wearing them today. Otherwise i am fine. I have not yet had time to work, nor have i been able to sleep properly, just eating and drinking and eating again. I am still having bad dreams, especially the first night. Tomorrow i want to work seriously. . ". Date: 29 December 1892.
