Greenwich a study for an etching of 'sugar boats off greenwich', encompassing a panorama from greenwich power station and coaling pier on the far left, across the front of the royal naval college, to sugar boats unloading into lighters to the west of greenwich town centre toward the right. Local boys are swimming in the river off the isle of dogs in the right corner foreground, close to the artist's vantage point. Date: circa 1890.
