Ib abelsøn i busy in the defense with building new entrenchments and disturbing the enemy. He call himself the queen's officer and becomes nearly as known as queen sophie amalie herself. Queen sophie amalie (1628-1685) and king frederik iii (1609-1670) both stayed in copenhagen during the siege so the situation with the two of them in the drawing may indeed have taken place.
