Illustration by poul steffensen from the danish novel dronningens vagtmester by carit etlar which takes place during the dano-swedish war in 1658-1660. Ib abelsøn plans to help the noblewoman elsebeth buchwald and her family to flee from the swedes at the gjorslev castle. The evil kulsoen however has figured out the plan of ib abelsøn but her so palle would rather helps ib abelsøn. They meets in the forest where kulsoen notice quickly figures out that palle is on to something. At they walks he tells her how he has hidden a package with silverware in the hut of ib abelsøn.
