The german captain esner in swedish service and his 25 soldiers has come to the gjorslev castle and get quartering. At first captain esner appears pleasant to the noblewoman elsebeth buchwald who lives in the castle and tells about his mother and girlfriend. Elsebeth buchwald thinks she is safe and lets the expensive things appear on the table. One evening she lets captain esner gets a cup because he has promised one to his girlfriend. But a few days later he takes a pot as well, claiming that cup and pot belongs together to the disbelief of elsebeth buchwald. Date: Original illustration from the 1890s, here reprint from 1909..
