Svend poulsen, gøngehøvdingen, and ib abelsøn has come to the søholm castle to hole the hidden treasures of the noblewoman elsebeth buchwald. But the evil kulsoen has also come to get a part of the treasure for herself. Ib abelsøn finds the treasures and take kulsoen as prisoner. Then he hides the treasures in the coffin for the dead curate tange and hides the body in the fireplace behind kulsoen. As a swedish soldier comes in ib abelsøn tell him that kulsoen has gotten tetanus. The distance and the darkness from a pill in the hall makes that the soldier doesn't notice the bands keeping kulsoen in place. Date: Original illustration from the 1890s, here reprint from 1909..
