Illustration by poul steffensen from the danish novel dronningens vagtmester by carit etlar which takes place during the dano-swedish war in 1658-1660. A stranger comes to the hus of tam and kulsoen and ask for svend gønge whom he has a sealed letter for. Tam with his back to the reader and kulsoen with the light says that they will make sure that he gets the letter. But kulsoen actually wants to read the letter herself.
