After svend poulsen has gotten him free he goes down to the noble people where he greets karen kaas. Her mother elsebeth buchwald doesn't know that the two of them loves each other. But the chicken boy palle has told that svend poulsen and his gønger are at the castle and she is happy for that they can help her, karen kaas and holger rud to flee from castle at last. Svend poulsen (app. 1610 - app. 1679, number two from the right) was a real person but the story is fiction. The look of svend poulsen is also fantasy as there is no known portraits of him.
