Ib abelsøn plans to help the noblewoman elsebeth buchwald and her family to flee from the swedes at the gjorslev castle. The chicken boy palle makes her evil mother kulsoen believes that he has hidden a package with their silverware in the loft in the hut of ib abelsøn. The eager kulsoen goes up there but when she hets there he removes the ladder so that she can't get down. He begs and threats him but he just walks out, closes and locks the door and then runs away.
