Ib abelsøn has destroyed a bridge over the stream tryggevælde å so that he and svend poulsen, gøngehøvdingen, can escape from a group of swedish horsemen. The horsemen then has to take a detour via the next bridge at the watermill. Tam and his evil wife kulsoen lives near the watermill.
