The star, gold plates and bone spoon of metropolitan peter in the sacristy of the moscow assumption cathedral, the star covering the diskos is rich in metal and in decoration with enamel and precious stones. Consisting of four bows, between which are four rays, it forms an eight-pointed star, a likeness of the heavenly body that guided the magi to bethlehem. On it we read the following inscription: july 1585 (1585) this star was made in the cathedral and apostolic church of the most holy theotokos, honorable and glorious assumption, under the blessed tsar and great prince theodore isoanovich, by order of the lord, most reverend dionysius, metropolitan of all russia. Two golden saucers belong to it. On one of them is depicted an eight-pointed cross on golgotha in enamel, with a crown of thorns on the center crossing and with an inscription along the edges: we bow to your cross, vladyka, etc. , and on the other is the incarnation in the form of the sign of the mother of god and with an inscription around it: i place all my hope in you, mother of god, keep me in your shelter. The edges of both saucers are studded with emeralds and sapphires in nests. Finally, this same drawing shows a spoon made of fish bone, which, according to tradition, belonged to the primate of moscow peter, but in the cathedral inventory of 1628 it was called "the spoon of st. Jonah the metropolitan. " the cathedral inventory of 1627 mentions "a bone spoon, on a ring, the spoon is covered with silver and the rim is strung with pearls. " apparently, this spoon belongs to the cell, and not to the church utensils. Date: 1846—1853.
