Ceiling divided into 8 square and 5 rectangular compartments, each with central motif. Central horizontal rectangular panel shows triumph of war: at left, mounted warrior in classical armor fights footsoldier; at center, warrior in horse-drawn chariot and above victory with trumpet; at right, other combatants of opposition and victory with trumpet. Victories in square panels at four corners: three record on oval shields, and fourth holds trophy of classical armor. In four square panels at center of each side are octagonal motifs with four winged genii forming maltese cross pattern. Representations of double pairs of wings (probably of eagle), in four rectangular panels flanking center squares of long sides. Date: 1812.
