Didelot by Hau, 1840

Marie-rose didelot, né colinette (1784-1843), ballet dancer, second wife of the famous choreographer charles didelot. In 1818 she left the stage, in st. Petersburg she was the first teacher of ballroom dancing, taught the grand duchesses and taught at the smolny institute. In 1828, for long-term diligent service, she was awarded the mariinsky badge of distinction of the 2nd degree, and in 1841 of the 1st degree. Date: 1840.
