Plate numbered 12, domitianus: in the foreground, a statue of domitian on horseback, in full armour, bearing a halberd; the pedestal decorated with a scene of domitian catching flies by stabbing them with a stylus, another panel depicts the restoration of buildings in rome which he initiated; in the background, to the left, domitian watches men being slain from his balcony; to the right, he is murdered by two soldiers engraving.
