Portrait of catherine ii made by: roslin, alexander __after portrait of empress catherine ii dressed in ermine, wearing a small diamond imperial crown (probably dismantled), diamond earrings, a diamond necklace with a chain pendant terminating in a full-cut pendaloque diamond (1750s, now in kremlin museums), the diamond and silver "grand imperial chain of the order of st. Andrew the first-called (st. Petersburg, 1780s, now in kremlin museums), and the orange and black sash of the order of st. George. The gilt frame is surmounted by a large and prominent double-headed surrounded by a garland of laurel leaves at top. The empresses cipher is on a shield on the eagle's chest.
