Ruins of an old roof tile and its adjacent construction on the príncipe pío mountain, located in the royal site of florida, madrid. This enclave was one of the most visited by haes and his disciples, and they used to go there to carry out natural studies practices at the san fernando school. The intensity of the light, the tonal variations of ochres, browns and greens and their contrasts with the breadth of the sky were, from the beginning, a source of inspiration for carlos de haes.
