Satire on the fear of french invasion, 1794-1805. (british political cartoon); general berthier feeds peas to bonaparte, who is made to expel invasion balloons, troops, cannon and guillotines. From the cliffs of dover, whig leaders encourage a raft and greet french soldiers led by general monge, emerging from the mouth of a whale. Date: 20 February 1798.
