See bmsat 9596. The younger man stands legs astride negligently using a ramrod. A bleeding cock hangs from his waist. His companion leans against a fence, voraciously gnawing a cold chicken, a bottle of 'porter' beside him. Near him lies a dead cat. Each dog watches his master, the bulldog's collar is inscribed 'john bull'. 12 november 1800 hand-coloured etching. Date: 1800. Dimensions: Height: 238 mm; Width: 340 mm. Medium: paper.
