Description a crowd stands watching a caricature of the death of daniël raap
on the day of the death of raap, former leader of the doelists, the painter bugge made a chassinet (transparent painting) for one of his windows in his house in the warmoesstraat. It depicts a devil crushing a turnip in his claws; the juice comes in a bottle with the inscription: 'raapesop'. The display of the chassinet was repeated several evenings in a row, but was ultimately prohibited by higher authorities. . Dimensions: 75x103 mm. Copy after the drawing by simon fokke.
