The assumption of the virgin: the virgin is seated on a cloud, mid-air, surrounded by putti; below, in the centre, her tomb lies open, filled with lilies and roses; the apostles gather on either side of the tomb, to right, thomas looks up as mary throws down her girdle; within ornamental frame.
