Art Embroidery 1878 10, Thomas Crane

Plate x original description: design for curtain - honeysuckle and bird (yellow-hammer) - to be worked in crewels on linen, bolton sheeting, or serge, which latter may be of a full colour if desired, so that it is harmonious. The bird should only be repeated half as often as the rest of the pattern, which need not be enlarged, but may be so if required. Date: 1878.
