Arolsen Klebeband 16 065, 1681

Graphic from the adhesive tape no. 16 ("funerals") of the princely waldeck court library in arolsen. Left: "comes ernest", right: "comes hieronymus"; shield and fanfare show a coat of arms: quartered, in each field a double eagle under a crown, with the order of the golden fleece. The coat of arms and date 1681 match raimondo montecuccoli († 1680), knight of the golden fleece. Otto 1851, no. 1035, however, only writes: "allegory. In a hall of fame stand two counts ernst and hieronymus, probably from the palatinate". Date: 1681.
