A galjoot and other vessels under easy sail on the left, viewed from abaft the starboard beam, a galjoot before the wind with her mainsail hauled up and her foresail set. On her port bow a hoeker; and in the right background, three other vessels with their mainsails hauled up. There is a ship at anchor in the left background. This drawing by the younger is signed in brown ink ‘w. V. Vj. ’ it is in pen and grey ink but with the ship drawn in brown ink. A galjoot and other vessels under easy sail. Date: circa 1685.
