A calm with a boeier yacht on the dutch coast in the right foreground there is part of a quay with men on it and a boat at the end. Beyond it, a boeier yacht bow view under sail. On the left there is a small vessel at anchor. This drawing by the younger is signed in brown ink ‘w. V. Vj. ’ it is in black chalk heightened with a little white. The margin of the drawing has been lined in ink, which may be the same ink as the signature. A calm with a boeier yacht on the dutch coast. Date: circa 1700.
