A battleship and other vessels at sunset, probably at portsmouth a battleship of the 'bellerophon' (1907) or 'st vincent' (1908-09) classes, seen in stern view and presumably in portsmouth harbour. Whichever it is it has a very early rig (pre-1912). The masts on the right may be those of 'victory' (1765), hence the suggested location. Date: circa 1910. Dimensions: 253 mm x 355 mm.
