Plate 51 in the "iii. Year" (1902) of the architectural character pictures with an architectural sketch and a drawing under the title "design of the western side of beethovenstrasse, hanover-linden". The buildings that were actually built, in particular the humboldt school (today: the upper school of the igs linden), which was built by the lead architect georg fröhlich (with alfred sasse) by 1901, followed other plans. Although the author of the drawings on this plate signed "c. Arend" (bottom right), the architect is given in the subtitle as "karl arend". Due to its size (> din a3), this sheet was scanned in two parts, each at 600 dpi, and then reassembled using a photo editing program. It turned out that a scan at 600 dpi obviously produces different results depending on the scanner. We would like to thank the employees of copystork in hanover, körnerstraße 3, for their technical and personal support. The original sheet was kindly provided by johannes rappenecker in order to make it permanently accessible to everyone in the world as a digital copy via wikimedia commons. Date: 1900 (Zeichnung), 1902 (Druck).
