The London Institution, Finsbury Circus - Shepherd, Metropolitan Improvements (1828), p287, Thomas Hosmer Shepherd

View of the front of the london institution, on the north side of finsbury circus. The building was designed by william brooks and completed in 1815. The building later became the initial site of the school of oriental studies of the university of london from 1917 after the london institution closed in 1912, until the school moved in 1936 and the building was demolished. Date: 1828.
