Monsignor Sibour (1792-1857), Archbishop of Paris., Thomas Couture, 1856

Known for his liberal ideas, bishop sibour was called to the archiepiscopal see of paris in 1848. However, he rallied to napoleon iii and was rewarded by being named senator.
