On the left the then numbers oude turfmarkt 46, 47, 49 and 50, demolished during the construction of 1860, approximately where the current numbers 125-127. In the background the doelenbrug, the english houses on the schapenplein or muntplein and the munttoren. On the right are the houses rokin 140 (g. ), 142, etc. Number 168 is the roman catholic secret church het boompje, with a floating bathhouse in the water in front of it.
