2-20. The upper part of a narrow valley and in it is the city of bakhchisarai; near the khan's palace is the main mosque, the tombs of the khans and the palace gardens, drawn from the heights. The abundance of gardens with lombard poplars, the minarets of the mosques and the graceful chimneys give the city a pleasant appearance. Date: 1794.
