Christian rantzau, imperial count of rantzau, lord of breitenburg and many other estates, (* 2 may 1614 at hadersleben castle; † 8 november 1663 in copenhagen) was governor of the royal danish portion of schleswig-holstein from 1648 to 1663. He founded the free imperial county of rantzau in 1650. Date: circa 1600.
