Tab. Xcv. On mythology. C) hercules, with his club and lion skin, is talking to aesculapius, who is resting his hands on a stick with a snake wrapped around it. Next to him lies a sphinx, with a lioness on her body and a girl on her face. Not far from him is bacchus, a beautiful youth crowned with wine, holding a full cup in his right hand and a thyrsus in his left. Next to him rides silenus on a donkey; a satyr holds him so that he does not fall. Above this group appears janus with two faces. Next to him fortuna, who is standing on a sphere.
