Vertumnus and Pomona, Hendrik Goltzius, 1613

In the shape of a woman, vertumnus talks to his beloved pomona. With his right hand vertumnus grabs a vine. Between his legs rests a walking stick. Pomona lays under an apple tree and holds a knife in her right hand with which she harvests fruit. On the foreground, right, are aples, pears and grapes.
