Imaginary portrait of king alfonso xi of castile (1311-1350). He was the son of king ferdinand iv of castile and queen constance of portugal. In 1340 he defeated the muslims in the battle of salado and in 1341 he conquered alcalá la real, priego de córdoba, carcabuey and rute.
