on the left, a weather quarter view of a small pink close hauled on the port tack in a fresh breeze. She is rigged with a square foresail on a short mast, a mainsail on a mast with pole topmast and a lateen mizzen. Under her lee, a vessel before the wind and further to the right, a vessel on the starboard tack. This is an unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the younger.
