The face is considerably worn by rubbing; the insensitive lines of the spencer (jacket) are by later hands (parker, p. 49). Holbein has noted "damast sh" (black damask) at the bottom of the sheet. Date: 1532–43. Dimensions: height: 28.9 cm (11.3 in); width: 22 cm (8.6 in). Medium: black and coloured chalks, ink, paper. Collection: Royal Collection, Windsor Castle.
