Description the rondeel (verso: three figure studies) view over the amstel on the rondeel and surroundings. On the left the roobrug (or doelenbrug) over the rokin, just behind it the entrance gate to the stadstimmerwerf - located behind the rondeel - and behind it the turret of the gasthuiskapel. In the right background the swych utrecht tower, the bridge over the kloveniersburgwal and the zuiderkerk. The scene appears almost exactly as it does in a painting attributed to cornelis vroom (amsterdam historical museum). The scene was printed by abraham rademaker in 1725.
