Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 471, 27 September 1917

471. Cross - tombstone, in the courtyard of the church "st. Constantine and elena" in the village of malak gargalak, kyustenjansko. Roughly carved from coarse-grained marble in 1874. On its face are carved four isosceles crosses, surrounded by engraved lines parallel to their outer contours and engraved circles around them; a frieze of zigzag ornament is engraved on the periphery of the face of the cross. The two side wings of the cross are small and square; the upper is larger with an arched upper edge, and the lower wing is the largest and is driven straight into the ground without a plinth above a grave in which a woman (female cross) is laid. Dimensions: 60x50x13 cm. Sketched on 27. Ix. 1917 (vol. 8, obr. 15. ). Date: 27 September 1917.
