Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 316, 21 August 1917

316. Cross-doll with a coffin around the cemeteries in the village. Old village, tutrakansko, made of oak wood 20-25 years ago. The doll's head is pentagonal, with the base up and ending in a trapezoidal cap; the lower side is longer, two planks are nailed to it, forming the coffin, which, together with the wing, are buried halfway into the ground; the left and right wings extend outwards from the doll's neck. Dimensions: 49x19x6 cm. Sketched on 21. Viii. 1917 (t. 4, model 1. ). Date: 21 August 1917.
