Date: ca. 1652. Physical characteristics: pen in black, brush in black and colours. Material: paper pen (feather) ink watercolor technique: brush / calligraphy. Dimensions: sheet: h 313 mm × w 204 mm explanation the poem was devised by jan harmens krul for his play diana from 1623. Gesina also copied the bottom verse almost literally from the last lines spoken in krul's play alcip en amarillis (c. 1634). Credit line: purchase with the support of the rembrandt association. Acquisition: purchase feb-1887. Date: circa 1652.
