View of the puerta del sol around 1660, with the 'fountain of buen suceso', installed there in 1630 in front of the hospital del buen suceso, now disappeared; also called 'fountain of mariblanca, venus or diana' (depending on which chronicler), because of the statue that crowned its structure, and 'fountain of the harpies', because of the strange figures that surrounded its pedestal.
