José joaquín prieto vial (concepción, august 27, 1786 - santiago november 22, 1854), chilean politician and military man. He was president of the republic in the period 1831-1836, being re-elected for the immediately following period between 1836 and 1841. Son of josé maría prieto sotomayor and maría del carmen vial y santelices. Married to manuela warnes y garcía de zúñiga, sister of josé ignacio warnes. Date: 1854.
