Original etchings and drypoints by bracquemond, including many trial proofs with additions in ink, watercolor and gouache. Subjects include illustrations for gautier's capitaine fracasse, selected fables of la fontaine, and rabelais; birds and animals (bats, crows, ducks, geese, lapwings, magpies, moles, partridges, rabbits, roosters, storks and teal); landscapes along the seine; views of paris; several scenes of the siege of paris in 1871, two showing snowmen by the sculptors falguiere and moulin; madame bracquemond sketching a portrait.
