Le chien du Louvre.

Le chien du Louvre.

Faithful to his insurgent master who fell during the three glorious days during the assault on the louvre, the dog of the louvre, called médor, never left the location of the common grave dug in front of the colonnade of the louvre, at the very site of the fighting, where the victims were buried. His loyalty moved the parisians who gathered there. Date: 1887 d'après un dessin du temps [années 1830].
