On the river bank (1889), also exhibited as on the river shore, holland, by henry s. Bisbing. This painting won a bronze medal at the 1889 exposition universelle in paris; the 1892 temple gold medal at the pennsylvania academy of the fine arts in philadelphia; and was one of the works in bisbing's silver-medal-winning exhibit at the 1893 world's columbian exposition in chicago.
