Vertical rectangle. Framed by architectural motifs. Below is a dado with a sarcophagus at center. The bust of a man is obliquely disposed on the top. The celebration of the mass is shown as a background, probably intended to be painted. Above is an entablature with an escutcheon and an oculus framed by scrolls. Date: circa 1675. Dimensions: (test): 10 11/16 x 7 3/4 in. (27.2 x 19.7 cm). Medium: black chalk on cream laid paper, brush and brown wash, pen and brown ink. Collection: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
