In picture no. 34, volume iii, we have already seen that this building was only two stories high. The lower part was used as a warehouse, especially during trade fairs and factory operations. When the nuremberg merchants visited the lucrative frankfurt trade fairs, they exhibited their goods from the far east here and offered them for sale. The large, heavily loaded goods wagons covered with cloths drove in and out of the courtyard and created a lively hustle and bustle. After the trade fairs had declined, the area was dedicated to the business of the goods conductors for a long time. These buildings have also been demolished and the new street was named "braubachstrasse" after the braubach, which is channeled through a canal here. Date: 1901. Dimensions: reproduction: height: 15.4 cm (6 in); width: 19 cm (7.5 in), original: unknown. Medium: collotype print. Collection: Private collection Mylius.
