Hours of Etienne Chevalier - Saint Stephan, 1452 — 1460

Below, the arbors of roses and grapes perhaps allude to saint étienne (the basket of roses symbolizing his tomb and martyrdom) and to catherine budé, the deceased wife of étienne chevalier (the three bunches of grapes on his coat of arms).
