Eriksen, virgilius (workshop) portrait of empress catherine ii in a kokoshnik the original of this portrait was created by the famous danish portraitist v. Eriksen around 1767 and in 1768 was presented to the english doctor thomas dimsdale, who inoculated the empress and the heir against smallpox, and is still kept by the doctor's heirs in england.
